Our Client: A renowned name in the Middle East region in Consumer Goods distribution industry is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Manager
Your role: The Senior Cybersecurity Manager leads the organization’s efforts in information security, data protection, and cyber defense. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and IT infrastructure by managing key areas such as Information Security, Data Privacy, Cyber Defense, Audits, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery. The manager will drive a robust cybersecurity posture by leveraging industry best practices, adhering to regulatory frameworks (e.g., PDPL, ISO 27001), and implementing proactive risk management strategies while leading a high-performing team to secure organizational assets. The Senior Cybersecurity Manager oversees the organization’s cybersecurity, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT infrastructure and data. This includes leading the Security Operations Center (SOC), implementing data privacy programs, and embedding cybersecurity best practices across the organization. The role ensures compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001, PDPL, and GDPR through rigorous audits and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include developing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies such as threat intelligence and vulnerability management. The manager fosters cross-functional collaboration with IT, legal, and business leaders while tracking performance through metrics like incident response times. They lead and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team, encouraging ongoing learning and alignment with evolving industry standards.
Must Haves: The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields, with proven expertise in managing SOC operations, SIEM technologies, and implementing robust cyber defense strategies. They should possess a strong understanding of data privacy and security frameworks like PDPL, GDPR, and ISO 27001, coupled with practical compliance experience. Proficiency in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning, along with a demonstrated ability to conduct audits and maintain regulatory compliance, is essential. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable. The candidate should exhibit strong leadership and team management skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to risk management.
