A conglomerate with considerable size and operating in the consumer goods sector.
Your Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Modern Trade Sales Director to lead and expand our operations in the modern trade channel. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will drive growth, manage national accounts, and oversee a team of 3 managers with a total headcount of 330. This role combines strategic planning, customer engagement, and operational excellence to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable growth across the modern trade channel.
- Develop and implement account strategies and budgets.
- Foster strong customer relationships and ensure reliable service delivery.
- Lead promotional activities and category growth initiatives.
- Manage and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance market share and profitability.
- P&L management.
- RTM and expansion strategies.
- Negotiation and contracts management.
- Sales operations.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA.
- 15+ years in FMCG, with 4+ years in managerial roles within sales or business development.
- Proven experience in leading modern trade channels in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
- Background in branded food, snacks, beverages, or impulse products preferred.
- Strong skills in negotiation, stakeholder management, and sales analytics.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic required.
