Our Client: A rapidly expanding and highly regarded catering services company in the region, known for its excellence and commitment to quality is looking to hire a Manager Cost Control.
Your Role: You will lead a team of dedicated cost professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance. You will work closely with other project control disciplines and functions to ensure integrated project management, serve as the primary contact for cost-related matters, and nurture relationships across stakeholders. Your responsibilities include monitoring and managing project budgets, conducting variance analysis to identify cost discrepancies, providing actionable insights, and contributing strategic recommendations to drive project success. You will also review and approve project budgets, evaluate contracts with suppliers, ensure compliance with financial policies, and maintain ISO 22000 Food Safety System standards.
Must Have: 12+ years in cost control, preferably in mega or large-scale projects. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost estimation. Strong skills in project management software and financial tools. Attention to detail, adaptable to change, and expert in cost management tools & techniques. Exceptional analytical skills for in-depth variance analysis. Leadership experience with team management abilities. Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools. Relevant certifications such as PMI-SP, AACE CCP, or equivalent is desirable. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
