Job Description

The Head of Growth is responsible exactly for that, you identify acquisitions in the consumer goods sector that have synergy with the existing business or tapping new emerging sectors that will add value. Focus on future fit, sustainable growth. Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, conducting feasibility studies, and leading strategic initiatives to drive the division’s long-term growth. This role involves high-level analyses, business planning, and execution while working closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Opportunities & Feasibility Studies:

  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, competitive research, and assessment of industry trends to unlock genuine business potential.
  • Conduct high-level business and financial impact assessments, delivering strategic insights, risk evaluations, and investment recommendations to support the CEO’s decision-making process.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations with potential partners and clients, focusing on securing profitable agreements that enhance the division’s competitive edge.

Business Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute the annual Business Development plan, setting clear milestones and tracking progress to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of subsidiaries to ensure that growth targets and business objectives are met.
  • Cultivate partnerships with senior decision-makers, stakeholders, and external entities, balancing robust financial planning with excellent communication skills to strengthen the division’s market presence.
  • Oversee the development of corporate Balanced Scorecards and Governance reports, tracking progress against strategic goals and ensuring business progression.
  • Proactively research and engage with potential corporate partners, fostering collaborations that create synergies and promote sustained growth for the Consumer Division.

Chief of Staff Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review materials for board meetings, ensuring the CEO’s is well-supported with relevant data and insights.
  • Manage corporate communications originating from the CEO’s office, maintaining consistency and clarity in messaging.
  • Coordinate and oversee ad-hoc tasks ensuring timely and effective completion of projects

Must haves:

  • 10 +years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or a similar leadership role, with a proven track record of identifying growth opportunities, mergers & acquisitions and driving execution.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing high-stakes contract discussions.
  • Excellent financial and business acumen with experience in feasibility studies and performance analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
