We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to helm Corporate Affairs and Government Relations initiatives. This role is crucial in shaping the company’s reputation, managing high-level relationships with industry leaders and government officials, and ensuring robust corporate governance.
About the Role – حول الدور:
This role can be hybrid and part time consulting as well. Option to be based in Jeddah or Riyadh. What is key is that you have deep experience as a lobbyist, public affairs, seasoned statesman with with deep understanding of the consumer goods sector and networks within the government.
Responsibilities – المسؤوليات:
Develop and implement comprehensive corporate affairs strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and brand.
Oversee public relations, corporate communications, and media relations to ensure consistent and positive messaging.
Key Relationships and Stakeholder Engagement – العلاقات الرئيسية والمشاركة مع أصحاب المصلحة:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry leaders, government officials, business partners, and community leaders.
Act as the company’s primary representative and spokesperson in interactions with government and industry stakeholders.
Facilitate high-level dialogues and partnerships that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Government and Regulatory Affairs – الشؤون الحكومية والتنظيمية:
Monitor, analyze, and influence policy developments relevant to the company’s interests.
Engage with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and legislative entities to advocate for favorable policies and regulatory conditions.
Provide strategic advice on government relations and regulatory matters to the company’s leadership team.
Crisis Management – إدارة الأزمات:
Lead the development and execution of crisis communication plans to manage public relations crises or controversies.
Implement strategies to protect and restore the company’s reputation during and after a crisis.
Market Intelligence – الاستخبارات السوقية:
Stay abreast of industry trends, public opinion, and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.
Provide insights and recommendations based on comprehensive market analysis.
Qualifications – المؤهلات:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience – الخبرة:
Extensive experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or a related field.
Proven success in a leadership role, with a strong focus on government relations and corporate affairs.
Skills – المهارات:
Deep understanding of government processes, public policy, and regulatory environments.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage crises and handle sensitive issues with discretion and integrity.
Strategic thinker with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High ethical standards and transparency in all dealings.
