An multinational in the consumer goods sector. The organization is expanding its digital footprint to capitalize on the rapidly growing e-commerce landscape.
Your Role:
As the E-commerce Manager, you will be at the forefront of the company’s digital transformation, reporting directly to the Trade Marketing Head. Your role is evenly balanced between strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring the online channel drives revenue, optimizes customer experience, and aligns with broader business objectives.
- Strategic Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust e-commerce strategy that aligns with the overall trade marketing goals.
- Drive initiatives to boost online sales revenue, improve conversion rates, and enhance the average order value (AOV).
- Design data-driven strategies to optimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and improve Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSAT).
- Establish KPIs for online performance, set targets, and monitor progress to guide business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the e-commerce strategy supports inventory management and reduces return rates.
- Executional Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.
- Partner with internal teams to oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, and campaigns on various online marketplaces.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain teams, and enhance inventory turnover to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Utilize analytics tools to track engagement rates, identify customer behavior patterns, and optimize online touchpoints.
- Address operational issues, such as order fulfillment, delivery, and customer service, to minimize return rates and elevate satisfaction.
Must Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–7 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs, including sales revenue, CAC, and conversion rates.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces, CMS platforms, and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional collaborations.
