Role Overview:
The Business Planning Manager, reporting to the Group Manager, will oversee sales forecasts to ensure accuracy in predicting demand. Acting as a key link between the production plant and sales team, this role facilitates alignment and provides insights through variance analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Forecasting: Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts using data analysis and market trends.
• Sales Planning: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and adjust sales plans.
• Cross-Functional Interface: Align production and sales forecasts, facilitating cross-functional meetings.
• Demand Planning: Gather data for demand planning and monitor market trends.
• Forecast Coordination: Integrate sales and supply chain forecasts for production planning.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve forecasting processes and tools.
• Systems Management: Manage and optimize forecasting software and tools.
• Risk Management: Identify risks in forecasts and develop mitigation strategies.
Your Profile:
• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience in sales forecasting and demand planning in manufacturing or tyre industry.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
