Our client: A fast-growing fmcg organization.

Your Role

  • Serve as the Business Head for a newly established distribution business, focusing on sales growth, brand presence, and business development.
  • Take ownership of driving revenue, scaling the distribution network, and building a robust brand footprint in existing and new markets.
  • Achieve both organic growth through same-store sales performance and non-organic growth by onboarding new outlets.
  • Play a pivotal role in achieving ambitious growth targets, optimizing business performance, and strengthening the company’s market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets. Build and expand a scalable distribution network for maximum reach and efficiency.
  • Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability by monitoring credit exposure, optimizing working capital, inventory turnover, and cash flow.
  • Strengthen brand presence through targeted marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and promotional activities. Align brand positioning with market demands and company goals.
  • Manage sales operations, including order fulfilment, inventory management, and timely deliveries. Oversee logistics and supply chain to ensure seamless distribution processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team to achieve performance goals, setting clear KPIs.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, risks, and opportunities.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years in FMCG distribution, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and proven P&L management experience.
  • Expertise in Modern Trade and General Trade channels.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE FMCG market, including customer preferences, competitive landscape, and distribution networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead a team of 10–15 professionals.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
