Our Client: A prominent organization in the food industry with ambitious growth objectives for the region, is seeking a dynamic and high-potential Category Manager to join their team.
Role Overview: As a Category Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing a robust marketing strategy designed to drive long-term category growth and enhance market share across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and annual plans to foster category growth and increase profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with trade marketing, sales, and farm operations teams to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Brand Management: Develop and oversee category brand marketing strategies, manage the brand portfolio, advocate for new product innovations, and align with key stakeholders.
- Campaign Execution: Lead the implementation of marketing campaigns across digital, ATL, and BTL channels, including consumer activations.
- Performance Measurement: Track ROI of marketing activities and collaborate with agencies for effective strategy execution.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the CMI budget, prepare reports for various meetings, develop and deliver the annual marketing plan, and conduct monthly gap analyses to address any performance gaps.
Your Profile:
- Education: MBA required.
- Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the food industry, with at least 2 years specifically in Category Management.
- Regional Experience: Current or previous experience in GCC markets is highly preferred.
