Our client: A prominent provider of food ingredients, catering across KSA, is seeking an accomplished Production Controller.

Your role: With a strong foundation in material planning, inventory control, and production optimization, this role is essential for ensuring efficient production and effective cost management. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to secure material readiness, streamline inventory processes, and minimize production downtime. Key responsibilities include:
• Material Planning & Control: Develop and manage material requirements in line with production schedules and forecasts, adjusting as needed to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to support production without overstocking, analyzing turnover rates to reduce excess and obsolete materials.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure materials are available for each cycle, minimizing delays from material shortages.
• Supplier & Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement to secure timely, cost-effective materials, coordinating with suppliers on delivery schedules to align with production needs.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze MRP and production data to identify trends, generate insights, and prepare reports on material flow, stock levels, and production efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine MRP processes for better accuracy and responsiveness, working with IT to enhance system functionality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison among production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to maintain smooth material flow and resolve issues promptly.

Must have: The ideal candidate should possess:
• Experience: 5-7 years in material planning, inventory management, or production control.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP/MRP systems and advanced Excel, including data analysis tools.
• Core Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MRP principles, inventory management, and production planning; familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Key Competencies: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Work Environment: Ability to perform under pressure, adapt to fast-paced manufacturing schedules, and effectively manage deadlines.
• Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work in manufacturing settings and knowledge of industry-specific materials and production processes.
